Great Cornard is a substantial village and civil parish in the Babergh district of Suffolk, England, situated adjacent to the market town of Sudbury. The area has a rich history, with evidence of Palaeolithic, Bronze Age, and Roman settlements. The village is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 as the manor of Cornard.
In the mid-20th century, Great Cornard experienced significant growth, particularly during the 1950s and 60s, as part of the County of London Plan, accommodating overspill from London. Today, the village offers a blend of historical charm and modern amenities. Recreational facilities include Cornard Country Park, a nature reserve featuring wildflower meadows and woodlands.
Great Cornard is home to Thomas Gainsborough School, providing secondary education and housing the village's sports centre, library, and theatre. The village's proximity to Sudbury ensures access to broader services and transport links, making it an attractive location for families and professionals seeking a balance between rural and urban living.

Highly recommended, not only for the service as my flat roof looks lovely!! But if you are in need of advice and are looking for an honest and friendly service Ryan goes above and beyond.
Angie Roberts, Brentwood, Essex
Ryan and team arrived, late afternoon, as agreed, to review balcony, approx. 25 square metres, 3 sides fed by tiled roof and one long length hand-rail. Problem, 3 leaks in different places from 10yr old asphalt roof. We discussed the problem and Ryan suggested a choice of two plan of action. We found his quotation very acceptable. This work was completed as agreed, in only a few days, to our complete satisfaction. Eight months after completion, I can now report that after a very wet winter, the roof is in a sound state. An excellent job done.

RJ Evans Flat Roofing Ltd I found by accident on the Internet. It was a video about asphalting steps. I called Ryan who was very professional and had a great deal of experience and knowledge. The job was booked in straightaway and a team set about taking off old asphalt rebuilding and repairing the big Victorian staircase and then asphalting. The finish was quite amazing, these guys are very skillful at what they do and My husband and I were delighted. They were a professional team really hard working and highly recommend them.

Having had huge problems with my neighbour who objected to any work being done on our party wall, Ryun personally went to speak to her putting her at ease and left everything so tidy after the job had been done. I’m very grateful, especially as this was a last minute request Ryun undertook despite being very busy. The workmanship looks very neat, and at last I have a happy neighbour.

All the other builders I’d called said they were busy until January! Ryun returned my call, visited on a very wet day and gave me a quotation for the job even though he said he was busy and lucky for me, not too far away on another job. On a sunny Saturday Ryun returned with his colleague- they were on time and did the job in a matter of minutes! Even though I only needed one tile replacing, whilst on the roof Ryun checked the remaining tiles and gave advice regarding moss build-up. I will definitely recommend his services.

Morning, I would like to say how thrilled we are with the job on our steps. If you need any reference or quote from me I’d be delighted to provide one. I was so nervous of doing anything to our house that might detract from it aesthetically.
The quality and precision of the finish is fabulous. Your team know their stuff, were professional, efficient, skilful and I am simply delighted with how it looks. The communication at all stages was excellent and I know you’re working hard in Covid times to keep things working which is hugely appreciated.
Thank you all!
