London Roof Maintenanceiadmin
Our Surveyors have been investigating internal/external building fabric water damage during London Roof Maintenance visits diagnosing leaks and damp ingress for over 45 years.
Having worked on some truly architecturally magnificent structures in beautiful central London we have seen truly gifted craftsmen whom have lifted mastic asphalt seamlessly over the steepest of inclines and lead/copper skilfully blended to the roofline we are proud of the work that others have done that still stands watertight today in our great city of London.
We are delighted to say that we are hearing more and more of our clients are appreciating the true magnificence of our architectural diversity in London from government buildings, ex-council offices and residential properties and are really engaging with us about how they can maintain the existing roof and building fabric.
Now while we walk the roof with our clients (if they are willing), conducting flat roof surveys & roof inspection’s they are engaging us with real questions on the roof condition, asking us why is it leaking? how can it be leaking on one side of the building when there’s a crack in the mastic asphalt on the opposite side?
Now is the time, now is the time to start thinking ahead we want to help, we don’t want our London roofs to fall into disrepair, do we? we certainly don’t. We want to give our clients solutions not costly invoices because of neglected maintenance, we just want to provide a good service to our customers so that everybody knows who they can call for so straight forward advice.
If you don’t know the condition of your flat roof or don’t have a regular maintenance programs to prolong the life expectancy of your roof, not to worry just yet. The first place to start is internally you should regularly check your ceiling for any stains caused by water damage and leaking, TIP the employees only make a fuss if it affects them we go to many properties and it’s been leaking for months and no one say a word…… I know frustrating isn’t it. Then ensure that you take corrective action as soon as possible in order to limit damage.
Of course, you can call a local roofing company, this will probably save you time and stress if you’re not sure in a course of action?
Most any reputable London Roof Maintenance company should be able to help you manage the situation, so how do you know if they are a good company? here’s what they should have by way of company qualifications make sure you check as they maybe up on that roof alone that will be your responsibility……
